Pulled the trigger on a new to my collection 27 jewel Christopher Ward Rapide chorno, Cosc limited edition to 500. Meet number 500! Now I get its not an Omega and I love my omegas but I thought I would expand to this micro brand who do seem to produce watches that are not direct rip offs and who seem to be value for money, efficient and reliable. I asked for number 500 and got it. to me that's very cool.

Just got a formal dressing down from my HS friends for even suggesting a sympathy for the Bears....I conceded but only on the Bears..Hawks and Bulls are an exception. Go Birds!

My 24th Accutron. An Accutron 214 from circa 1964. Fifth one collected (resurrected) in the last two weeks. This one is a gold shell over steel case that came with two bent lugs (one cracked). A goldsmith friend declined my request to fix the lugs, so I fixed them myself. Dial is not original to this case, but period correct. Genuine Accutron hands. Good runner.
