Duck hunting Saturday on our old place on the lake. Digital camera only dried out enough this evening to retrieve photographs and still won't turn off without removing the battery. Rain and 34F all day. Roads a morass. Vehicle stuck twice. Grabbed a pair of rubber boots in the pre-dawn darkness only to later find out that Mrs. noelekal's size 7 had been paired with my size 12. Someone stole four dozen decoys and my waders out of the old lake cabin so only had a half dozen decoys left available. Ducks weren't flying. Only saw six for the entire day and they only laughed derisively at my duck calling efforts. No shots fired. All in all, a grand day out.
