Sadly, it's been slow at work lately. Not many "Scenes from the Dirty Windshield" opportunities. Pondering the coming of the festive season...

Recent arrival. I also ordered the grey panda 64 馃榾

Nice! I've bee not seriously pondering adding this one. I love the Dan Henry line. Very satisfying daily wear watches at a decent price.

Yup, exactly my reasoning as well.
I already owned one of his early editions (the 1947), which I find nice-ish (got an issue with the 22mm lug size).
As I still regret not getting a military PVD-coated Orfina Porsche Design (back when it was in the 1000 euro range), I thought this would partially ease the guilt 馃榾

I also invested in some vintage Omegas, so the horological guilt is partially put to rest 馃榾
Wore one of them this afternoon:

Just got this Seastar Navigator back today from a full refurb by Al at Archer's...I'm speechless with his work, really impressive (including a 70 page photo essay of its restoration). Valjoux 7734 fully rebuilt from its broken mangled state, crystal restored, case intentionally left as-is. Really happy to have this back after 40 years at the bottom of a trunk in the attic....I bought in new in Lausanne in '77 while on spring break.

Before the restoration: mangled guts and crystal, Valjoux 7734
