Went to the Calanques today with the SKX! Sometimes a view might actually be prettier than a watch

I found this vintage Seiko mechanical reference 7006-8009R in a junk shop a few months ago for $10.55 out the door. It didn't work and needed a crystal, but I thought it looked unpolished and was still attached to it's original bracelet. I considered slapping it up on the bay and tripling my money as is, but after thinking about it a while, I opted to put the money into the cleaning and crystal (turns out Seiko crystals aren't cheap.) $90 later, I have a C-note in the watch, but love the look. I have been jonesing for a new watch for weeks, finally getting this back from my watchmaker and getting it on the wrist today......it's almost like I found a new watch.

It's been a while since I've worn this piece and the only thing I now wonder is why.

The ‘Candy Horns ‘ and Mango at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, ‘Scarecrows In The Garden’ ...

All three look highly edible to me!

JLC Geophysic
I only have 2 fav from JLC: not their Reverso, but their MUT perpetual calendar (I fell in love with it since the movie Dr. Strange), and yours, the Geophysics. I love the design, the hands, the size, the unique complication (although I don't like the price 😜)
If I ever own a JLC, my first JLC for sure will be either of the two.
Enjoy it!
