It’s Waltham-Winch-Wednesday with my 23j railroad grade Vanguard 1908 (circa late 1920s) and my Hasbro G.I. Joe Adventure Team Commander with Hasbro Adventure Team winch (both circa early 1970s and I’ve had both since new)...good times! 👍

My newest arrival, the 38mm SKX013
Beautiful. Not even kidding, I was showing SKX013 to the wife just last night. Sits on my wrist so much better than it's bigger siblings. Pulled the trigger this morning. Ordered a NATO as well.

The pining for a Speedmaster 311.33.42.30.01.001 continues. In the meantime, however, I’m embracing the pieces I already own, including this one. It was my wife’s wedding present to me.

(Another gorgeous October day in Vancouver!)

How do you feel about the proportions of this smaller one? We wants a wrist shot too! 😜
I was honestly quite surprised at first. I knew it was smaller, no doubt, but the numbers didn’t make sense until I had it in hand. As surprised as i was, I was THAT much happier. The slightly longer lugs show off the chamfers wonderfully and the whole package is phenomenal. And only because you asked... some quick and dirty phone shots

Looks tiny compared to my Seiko Five that saves lives😎

Congrats! It really does wear much better. I can’t wait to swap straps later on, but for now I’m enjoying the charm of this super jangly bracelet

One of my grails.

Waited quite a lot for mine...

Wear it in good health.

An old photo (grey skies don't help already mediocre photography skills) but a lovely watch to wear - light, and very original, down to the UG branded strap and buckle
