RIP Invicta....

This might be the end of an era. The Invicta battery went dead. Do I spend $10 for a battery on a $40 watch? I might do so, but internally there is an issue and it it difficult to set time, as something inside is causing a problem. I might need to retire the Invicta. 馃檨

If memory serves me right, you have a few other options in your watch box... take out the battery and retire it in the sock drawer...

Install the new battery at a time that coincides with that displayed on the watch. Problem solved!

1917 Elgin 18 size 15 jewel in a coin silver case.

RFC bombers watch! the Royal Flying Corp bought these by the bucketload and poured them over the side while flying over the German lines, the Krauts called them DerUberNogginKonker... extremely rare and valuable in running condition as most were heavily damaged hitting German heads.

Or a nasty old mid grade watch yankee watch... your choice. Either way its a nice lump of silver.
