Back home after a full overhaul, a few new movement parts & a polished crystal. Looking & working like it was just bought at the Sear’s counter! 1970’s Tradition Diver Ref. 10742 - cal. AS1913 - sold by Sears Roebuck & Co.

I decided it was time, so went to buy a new Railmaster, a couple of tables over someone was trying this Citizen Eco Drive Super Titanium - it looked superb, so chickened out of the Railmaster saved 96% of the cost and bought the Citizen! Came with a rather stiff but nice leather strap with orange stitching to match the 'second' hand, but it probably weighed more than the watch itself, so put on this NATO strap. Love the sharp faceted case, the totally pointless numbers engraved around the edge and simple overall design - at 44mm it's bigger than I'd normally like so fills my rather skinny wrist, but looks so nice (much better than in this phone snap) plus it's an Eco Drive, I've had one of these for over 13 years so far, and it just sits there ticking away waiting to be worn, only ever gets adjusted when the clocks change (never bother with the date) superb watches. Guess I'm still not hungry enough for that new Omega yet 😉
