Still enjoying my “survivor” Tissot PR 516, probably from the mid to late 1960s. Came to me with no bracelet, so a customized strap and a pair of stainless steel pressure pins will have to suffice until a better alternative presents itself. I find the look of the watch and the colour of the dial are both quite growing on me.
I bought this (allegedly serviced) from a dealer in Holland about a year ago. It worked for about 5 mins then stopped...So i put it away to go on the "for future service"list . Was messing about with other watches in the box today and it just started up.. just willing me to pick it up and put it on...that was 4 hours ago!! Still planning to service it, but perhaps a day or two on the wrist first..
Another day at work. Need a tool watch that can have body fluids washed off, and I do not cringe every time it gets bumped. View attachment 634999
