Little longer commute today as timed by the trusty commute timer:

ORD > DEN > SLC

Any Salt Lake City recommendations?

Today it's been "I-Didn't-Know-Any-Better-Constellation Monday.

A Constellation with a redone dial rescued from South America back in the late 1990s when I was making the first Ebay purchases. Put a BOR bracelet on it 'cause I liked the bracelet and wore the watch enthusiastically and cluelessly as the "daily driver" for some years. It's always been a great-running watch with its 505 movement. Ought to better "redo the redo" but haven't gotten "a round tuit" yet. It's been mostly retired since last service in favor of an original Constellation acquired since membership here.

I have a few sports cars. Usually I am a stickler for originality. However, there are a couple with subtle modifications that, while aficionados might turn up their noses, I rather enjoy/like because we have history/memories together. If the watch conjures up fond memories and brings a smile to your face -- e.g., the excitement and pride of early collecting -- enjoy it as it is.....it will bring you more joy "as is" than it will bring joy to aficionados "corrected". Cheers!
