An oddity today, an old Grana-Kurth Freres chronograph with a Venus 175 movement. Grana (the predecessor to Certina) is best-known by mil-watch collectors due to the desirable WWW ("Dirty Dozen") watch. I don't know exactly when it was made, but my best guess is the early 1940s, or even possibly the late 1930s. It has good wrist presence due to its 38mm stainless steel case and all-dial design. I really like the design of the dial, including the size and placement of the sub-dials and the isolated "12" and "6" at top and bottom.
Dear Omega, Please continue designing and putting out new Limited Edition dials. They may not all be perfect, they may not all be loved, but every once in a while you will hit a grand-slam like this one, and that will make all the walks and base-hits well worth it! Sincerest regards, Gostang9
