I started with my Montreal but only to bring it into the office to send to its new owner. Fortunately my 176.005 was waiting on my other wrist ready to take over.

Croton Aquamatic "Antarctic"....33.7mm diameter, 38.6mm lug-to-lug, 10.4mm case back to top of crystal, 17.6mm band. I have a few Crotons and Croton Nivada Grenchens...great watches....underappreciated brand.

Mitsokoshi? Good Lord, that's one of my favorite Speedys ever. I love that more than the LE Silver Snoopy with the white dial. Previously, the Snoopy was the only white dial watch I thought I'd wear. I've always been a black dial guy in general, but this watch has changed my mind.
Thank you. It isn鈥檛 one of the originals but after I saw a posting by one of the other forum members, I was able to find the dial and handset and then bought a watch to put them on.

Still lingering with this sweetie. Keeps great time and makes me smile every time I glance at it.

Probably one of my more fortuitous eBay purchases in a long time.

And, to indulge in my case fetish:

This, but only because I was taking some pics for another thread - needs a total refurb IMO and hasn't been worn for the last 13 years!

now back in the box - lets hope it isn't another 13 years before it see's the light of day!

Older pictures, but this one. My 1933 Rolex Prince Observatory duo-dial. The only one of these I have ever run into with 18-jewels (15 and17, typically), and adjusted to 6 positions. Gruen used this movement as well. Suspect it was made by Aegler, for Rolex. I am the second owner. My late father having bought this one in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Unfortunately, a gold filled case.

There is nothing unfortunate about that beauty

In the 1st day that I've had my POLMLE back from Omega's routine service, and on my wrist, it's gained less than 1 second.
