Hamilton Meadowbrook from 1928ish. I've found to my dismay that it's remarkably difficult to find a pair of original donor spade hands for this movement with intact original luminous radium fill, so I've gotten used to the skeletonized hands (I am unwilling to sacrifice one of my other Hamiltons!).

Looks loads better on a brown strap. New crystal and crown are here, but I know there's a big queue at both UK and Canadian watchmakers I use... 😀 Might just poly the current one and wear it a bit before sending it off.

Looks loads better on a brown strap. New crystal and crown are here, but I know there's a big queue at both UK and Canadian watchmakers I use... 😀 Might just poly the current one and wear it a bit before sending it off.

Looks great! Bares a striking resemblance to Hijaks! Twins? 😉

Whoa. Good spot Alex, that really is similar. I'll have to get the serial number and compare. My wife picked the brown strap - I actually thought it would look good on black, but i had conceded before seeing hijaks....
