Gallet multi EP 68 today. Small craft advisory today but Mrs S and I are not complaining ... could use a break ... aches and pains from two big days.

Best thing about having a bunch of watches and hanging around the house is

Mid Day Change, which can be at any time from an hour after waking to an hour before sleeping.

Thanks to @LarryG I got to wear almost 70 years old watch today. Below is the excerpt from Longines

    Dear Mr

    Thank you for request.
Originally, the serial number 8'168'4910 identifies a wristwatch in stainless steel bearing the reference 6006. It is fitted with a Longines mechanical self-winding movement, caliber 22AS. It was invoiced on the 26th October 1951 to the company Longines in Canada
We trust that we have responded satisfactorily to your request and remain at your entire disposal for any additional information.
    Best regards,

    Aurélie Tonna

Thank you, sir. My Hamilton 950 and 950B are fairly quiet...I’ve never had any comments [or “looks”] in Church regarding their ticking volume. I will say, however, that my Elgins [Veritas 376 on the lower left and B.W. Raymond 494 on the upper right] pictured below have been known to cause “looks” in Church due to their fantabulous ticking volume [which sounds like “VICTORY” imho]. The B.W. Raymond 494 is especially loud...and I really dig that.
