    Dennis, I have seen that VC a few times while flipping through this thread and I can't get enough of that dial. Its an incredible looking watch-does every version of that watch have the same dial or are there other (I assume to be less saught-after) versions too? What model is it? Ref?

    Again, what a beautiful watch. Thanks.

    Thanks! The dial is the reason I bought the watch. There are several variations to the Malte Grande series including some with and without guilloché dials, but this one (Classique reference 81000/000J-8975) is the only watch to have that guilloché pattern. The new version (-9107) has a similar shape to the cut, just not in a pattern that radiates from the subdial:

    Still nice, but not as cool which is why I hunted the original version.

    The white gold version of my watch had a "G" instead of a "J". It's shown in this article:
