This from the Illinois “Blue Book” by Meggers and Ehrhardt. Page 99. Adjusted for temperature, positions, isochronism. Jewels in settings. Gilt or gilt damaskened, blued screws. Start with S# 708101, end with S#1297050 (1888 to 1896). Grade 5, model 1, key wind, key set, patent regulator. RRG (railroad grade). Listed as 15-jewels, hunter cased model. Tested to position (TPI) but no mention is made of how many positions. 2,010 made in this grade. While the book lists this as a hunter case movement, being key wound and set, it would have been simple to fit it into an open faced case.
Just bought a beads of rice bracelet for my railtrack Constellation. I think the two pair quite nicely.
It gives the watch a great formal look . I didn't realize how comfortable these bracelets were until I tried one on a few days ago.
i had a chance to hold one of these from a friend and i immediately noticed the speedy dial design on it.
