When Tuesday's hot will the Speedies melt? Guess we'll find out in the next exciting episode for it's forecast to be even hotter as the week progresses.
Here's the other after-market straps the original seller of my Speedy threw in, including the "Indiana" strap. Not pictured is, of course, the dark brown leather strap currently on the watch and pictured above. They are all 21mm wide, just right for the co-axial Speedmasters.
this picture has it all watches birthdays a mini hooters upside-down car cops firemen dead people parked cars police tape it only needs some bacon and a couple of prostitutes to make it perfect oh and a dog making love to a cat
LOL, yes, but it's a dry heat.....humidity 5%, which NEVER happens around here. Ours is 95F and 95%RH!!
Well, Speedmasters did pass NASA selection trials in which they were subjected to extreme heat and humidity. Rolex’s entry locked up tight in the humidity but the Omega Speedmaster kept on ticking. Longines Whittenaur submitted a pocket watch and was immediately disqualified. Had they submitted a wrist chronograph, and had it passed the tests to become the Moon Watch, would we be collecting them these days instead of Speedmasters?
One last Speedy Tuesday pic...currently at the CVG airport picking up the sister-in-law unit...Speedy is back on its Omega replica NASA strap...
