Going with the 6309 7040 again this morning as I clear my foggy head from the weekend. Groggy from staying up all night for two consecutive nights doing gun show security duty for a couple of promoter friends of mine, something I do seven weekends per year. Kinda fun actually since retirement and it keeps me in "ammo money" as well as funds watch servicing. Chose the big Seiko before leaving the house Friday night as I figured I might need something that could double as a bullet shield.

For any who might care, even the side arm toted is vintage, a 1953-54 vintage Smith & Wesson. The "big iron" it was one of the large N-Frame revolver models, a 44 oz. .357 Magnum with the 3 1/2-inch barrel, the old FBI configuration of a long bygone era. Holster is 50-60 years old as well, a custom O. F Ball model. Both are still serviceable and provide perfect satisfaction. Photo taken sometime in the wee hours Sunday morning in between reading and watching DVDs. Oh and drinking coffee and yawning, lots of yawning.
