Actually, what my wife is wearing today.....circa 1952 Lord Elgin "Saber"....21 jewels, 14KGF....sold for $71.50 back in 1952, which is about $680 in 2018 inflation adjusted dollars. The smaller case size men's watches in my collection have made nice watches for my wife. She chose the Saber for a business meeting she was going to this morning....another vintage watch collector in the making.
