So, another week, another watch. I rather enjoyed the honest little manual wind Marathon, but needs must, so back in the box it goes and another takes its place for the next seven days.

This week’s choice is my most recent purchase and was justified by designating it a “holiday beater”, but in reality, it’s so much more. It’s an iconic (maybe ;) ) design, unfailingly accurate, light and comfortable. To some, it may be a quartz abomination, but if you weigh up functionality –v- cost, it’s hard to see what you can get that gives better value for money.

    It’s a Casio G-Shock GW-M5610-1ER :D

Like NASA launching Apollo 13 at 13:13 Houston time, I mock Friday the 13th superstitions by wearing the contrarian Sinn EZM1 (left handed controls, mvmt features dropped, countdown bezel).
