Nice Lou, was really tempted to put in a bid. Congrats! Wearing this one again and finally found a nice strap for it.
You and me both, Kyle. I was locked and loaded and sighted in until LouS identified himself as a friendly. It could have been bloody. Dang that arrived fast.
Very bloody. I had an Ashley dialed in. I had no idea I was walking downrange from the MMMD artillery. Many thanks for your forbearance. I guess that's why hunters wear orange hats. Yes it did - 37 hours from end of auction - and it was several states away. It has to be some kind of record. Seller was Idealtime of Omaha, NE - he deserves full credit for hustling it to the mail to get here before Christmas.
Christmas Eve is also my Birthday - So what better than a Seamaster, the same age as me. A very 'Happy Holidays' to all those Secular, & Non Secular Forum Members. Very Best Wishes from the UK
1950 Cal.283, ignore the Rolex, it recently went to make room for a Cal.564 Connie.... filthy things Rolexes....yuk!
Hey that's my watch! Slightly different case, my bezel is a bit different but other than that they're twins, it's a brilliant size really and it's one of the pieces I get a lot of compliments on. I did find 20mm straps fit it a bit better even though it's probably a 19mm fitment.
Champers & Full English Breakfast... It's gonna be a looooong day! Merry Christmas Everyone!! Love these movement cuffs from the other half...balance still moves!
Nice present Saw something similar few days ago at a local watchmaker but he was crazy asking 700€ for them
