Personally I think it would look better on leather , but I would give it a couple of days on the bracelet though as you might get used to the look .
Enjoying this one for now... ...but I know I'll be switching later as it always puts me in the mood for the original.
A particularly lovely watch. I know little about the brand. Where does Helvetia fit into the vintage watch pecking order? Seems like it's asking to be treated to a nice leather strap.
Thanks for the opinions fella's, as it happened it was already back on leather by the time I looked back here. No harm in trying though. As for the brand, they have a very rich history which I guess a google should reveal plenty of reading, even made their own in-house movements which are rather beautiful to my eyes. Here's the inside of mine with its lovely guilt cailbre 838 movement... Back on its old leather, will treat it to a nicer one some day but can never quite decide which strap would look best on this.
