@Mad Dog : there are not many more OF members I’d be likely to yield to — you’ve made a clear impression on all of us. Hell, a birth year Speedmaster might be just what it takes to have you freed from your obvious hostage situation. (See my previous comments.) I also like your affection for gorgeous American pocket watches. But my -64 was made in September 1965, just as I was starting fifth grade (according to ilovemyspeedmaster), so it wouldn’t suit. Whew! cause I’m getting rather attached to the watch. It’s within 1000 serial numbers of two NASA watches too: Might as well get a shot in too, cause I’m wearing it again today.
Supplies for urgent landscaping needed on the house at lunch today...frenzied landscaping interval to grade rain away from a wall. Will not need gym.
Many thanks @rkmann11! I really enjoy wearing this one, but a gilt-dial 1675 is on my wish-list. There's nothing quite like those gilt dials IMO.
That is awesome! Speedmaster Decades Collection. Wow. #winning #SDC Tried this one on the other day. Out of my league. So back to basics.
I definitely understand the gilt dial attraction, but that bezel is PERFECTION! The fade is incredible! Oh, and in case it wasn’t clear: DIBS! (Just wait a while so I can fill the coffers a wee bit more please!)
Modern Speedy Gonzales Moonwatch again for today...still testing the replacement Velcro hooks on the Omega replica NASA strap...the Velcro adhesive backing continues to remain secure...good times!
