There's no law that says one cannot enjoy a casual Friday in retirement so the crusty World War II Omega came out. Meant to wear it Wednesday to honor D-Day but it's helping me inspect fruit in the back yard today instead. Plums still aren't quite ready. I tried one but it was still tart on its shaded side. Peaches appear small this season.
After a hard day doing the absolute minimum , I thought we deserved a well earned Friday evening drink, having a pint of the local brew ( Burton on Trent is 10 miles away )
