In keeping with my new policy of wearing the same watch for a week, it was time to put the titanium and gold bling of the Titane Chrono back in the box for now and select this week's watch. As I was looking over the choices, something caught my eye. This poor wee beater was gasping its last with 2 second jumps. It was almost like it was saying " Here I am. I've faithfully sat here and recorded the passage of time even though you've pretty much ignored me for months, but now I'm on my last legs. Please show me some love"*

So a quick visit to a battery changing shop and £5.75 later, it's back in tip-top fettle (or as close as it will ever get). So for the next week, one of the least well regarded watches ever supplied to the UK MoD gets its wrist time. Complete with slightly wonky date indicator, but now with a fresh battery, ladies and gentlemen, I give you.......the Pulsar G10

* Disclaimer - the sentences in quotation marks are the result of mild fantasising and do not imply that watches have souls, personalities, the ability to communicate with their owners or any sentience whatsoever. 😜

Power out today. Know what doesn’t stop when the power dies? Better pick one for today.
