Honestly, the Rolex 1016 only lasted one hour on my wrist before I took it off and went back to this Speedmaster, a -67. Something about a AML Speedmaster’s face that I find hypnotizing.



I love vintage watches that look like nobody’s worn them very much before me. Patina is second best to mint, at least in my book.

@airansun my opinion, that’s possibly the finest watch I’ve ever seen.

That’s very kind, but I feel like I see at least a dozen vintage Speedmasters on this site every month that put mine to shame.

My favorite thing about this watch is its serial number is within 900 of Buzz Aldrin’s Apollo 11 watch.

Ooh-fa! Quintessential Speedmaster!! I love the caseback - wish my co-axial had that back instead of the silly glass display back.
