Off to the mountains again, for 4 days. I don’t have a watch that I consider a beater. That is, I don’t have a watch that I purposely set out to destroy. But this survivor from 1957 will suffice for this trip. Good runner, performs well after full service and a new rotor post. The dial has seen better days, but it will serve the purpose.

Mine’s a Wittnauer, but nearly the same dial!

‘Howdy’😜

So glowy and retro! I love it!

Heritage, very obscure.$25.00 Ebay find

Look @ that dial. I'm a sucker for a vintage skindiver & puffy lume.

Is that an Armin Strom? Very nice! 😀

Yes! Here is a better shot, the detail is quite amazing.

And I plan to buy a gold bracelet soon. Just need to sell a couple of watches first.

Meters first 5513 with original T19 plexi, 700 crown, insert and factory chamfers. The original rivet while aesthetically cool doesn't expand in the summer heat!

with the onslaught of summer and being submerged under layers of sweat, time to whip out the ol' divers ...

BEAUTIFUL! Personally just wish those were a little smaller, but that are sweet!
