We’ve had such a crappy spring that today is the first time we get to enjoy our back porch. Almost a month late Cheers!
Old faithful, my first Omega, a 2002 3570.50, on a Hirsch strap, fully charged after a day in the sunshine.
To aid in cheering the Atlanta United FC team to victory over the New York Red Bulls ... minutes away! @aap
We’re taking the trailer and heading for four days in a no frills provincial campground. I don’t have a beater watch, but I have chosen one for the excursion, (scratches and all) that should do the job. This is your basic modern Swiss Hamilton Khaki, manual wind. Simple, rugged (enough), and will suit the purpose.
I wore my GMT2 BLRO this morning to my son’s pre-graduation Cum Laude ceremony at Seton Hall. Switched to the Speedy co-axial immediately upon arriving home. An issue for me with this model is the difficulty finding 21mm straps. Choices are limited compared to 20mm and 22mm. I had a 22mm Zulu Diver on before and the strap was a millimeter wide. Ever so slight bunching of the strap at the lugs. This is a 20mm strap and there is a bit of space between the lugs with this strap. This kind of silly stuff drives me up a tree.
