Back home after another long haul through four states. Always nice to slip in to one of my 2 favourites the other one being my GMT-Master.. Been having the itch for something new watch wise, but simply can't afford anything I'm lusting for. The trilogy Omegas come to mind. Any of the three would make my little world so much brighter! In the mean time, to satisfy part of the itch, strap change duty on what's left of my little gathering of watches. And yes, I'm a closet Bund strap lover!! The 053 looks pretty smart on the Jüergens pilot strap me think?! Cheers,
Thank you sir. I picked up the Gruen because it evokes memories of when I was a little kid, probably around 6 years old. My dad had one (that didn't work at the time) in his dresser drawer of "manly stuff" when I used to look through the drawer at all the treasures. This Gruen runs wonderfully well. Ought to get it out and wear it more often.
BLRO Thursday. Speedmaster back on the winder while my grail watch gets some wrist time. I try to keep it 50/50 but the Speedy seems to have the edge.
My wife’s wedding gift to me - a 1999 Muhle M2. She’s bummed that I’ve since embraced Seamasters. I love this watch, even more especially given the brownie points it wins me, i.e. ‘See, Honey - look what I’m wearing today!
