I'm wearing my 1943/44 Omega 2292 RAF with original alloy case which I really enjoy wearing. It is certainly much better than the plated mid case. It certainly does take on the appearance of a silver finish. Cheers Russell. 20180418_121420.jpg 20180418_121516.jpg 20180418_121400.jpg

I was out at our old family place on the lake, doing chores and hiking. Thought to do a "Speedy Tuesday Texas Wildlife Series" but saw nothing but vultures (we call 'em buzzards) and Red Ants.

Speedmasters are tough enough to handle being staked out in a Red Ant bed.

Old timers say that mesquite won't leaf out until there is no chance of frost. Well, the mesquite has been leafed out for a couple weeks now.

A few weeks ago I noticed a guy at work with some sort of a vintage looking watch. Had a chat, turned out it was his dad's 60s Enicar. He said if you like this, wait till I bring in my grandpa's watch.
Here it is, on my wrist. Inscription on the back says 1952
