If/when I get a second Speedmaster, this will be the one. It doesn't have a date window per se, something I've always insisted upon. But it does have a gorgeous date DISPLAY, something that's just as good if not better. And a moon phase display. My palms are starting to sweat just thinking about strapping this Speedy to my wrist.

but he'll never pull it off without a toque.

·Wearing this today, it's a 1969 751 linen dial C-Case Connie. Probably my most worn piece, took it with me backpacking in Europe for a month and was a great companion.
