·Yes, this what how I understood it as well. I specifically asked to have my old Passport back with the Visa page not stamped “cancelled” so I could contjnue using it. However, I’ve had conflicting information and the local visa office / embassy could not “guarantee” it would be accepted so I opted for the safe route of getting a new one. Hopefully my new 10 year Visa gets me through more than 1.5 years before it is filled up.
I have travelled with visa which had not expired and was issued on a passport that I had renewed.
Immigration officer checked old passport for visa amd stamped new passport for entry record.

·Another day with the new 168.004. I’m really surprised at how big it wears. Only had a similar experience with my Glycine airman, which is also 36mm.
