Just listed elsewhere on the MB. My 65 (or so) year old Certina with Kurth/Certina 28-45 movement. A favourite of mine. It’s not perfect, having been brought back to life after having been almost destroyed by its farmer-owner. Case re-chromed, dial re-done, many parts, and thorough servicing. Bought for $2.00 (she was asking for 50 cents). I have spent a packet on it, but love often gives us reason to be irrational, doesn’t it?

Sometimes the local citenzenry will ask, “Hey, Mad Dog...what fun things did you do today?”

I often reply with, “I wound my railroad grade 23j Waltham Vanguard 1908 AND observed it happening...AND then I then I took pictures of it...AND then I posted those pictures on omegaforums.net...fun times!” 👍

So...after hearing my reply, the local citizenry will sometimes comment with, “LOL...I don’t have to wind my watch...it’s a blah, blah, blah!”

So...Mad Dog will always comment with, “Your life sucks...I feel sorry for you!” 😁

Now that wavy dials are all the rage [again] 😀

I must be getting old as wavy dials have never been out of fashion for me😉
