Hey, today is the 20th anniversary of the X-33! Yup, it was unveiled to the public at NASA’s Houston Space Center on March 28th, 1998 with a live TV transmission from MIR where they were already being worn. I’m happy to have one with the original twin-pad red Kevlar strap... ...which is how it was presented in advertising. (BTW, 3 pages later is an ad for a Palm Pilot! ) Luv the watch or not, it cannot be denied that the X-33 served on a lot of space missions. My favorite photo remains this ISS131/Expedition23 group shot where there are 8 X-33s visible. Actually, if you study the mission pics , there were 2 more being worn, but not visible in this pic.
