finally got it... Canada Post seemed to think it needed aging before delivery.
serial 805408... the online database thingy says: model 1, grade 5, made about 1888, 15j, coarse train, adjusted to RR spec.

at 4 beats/sec it sounds like a diesel truck at slow idle.

Been a member for a while but first time to post. Almost missed out on a watch today because of the 200 post rule. Gotta start somewhere.

A build based on the Germany only release white dial from '83. Bezel and Dial from ebay. Hands from ottofrei. Built by Seregrin Fine Timepieces in San Franciso. Caliber 1861.
