Thanks very much for the advice and the last line made me laugh.
I have complete exercise and stretching routines to help with this issue since 2012.
Eventually I'll need some type of corrective surgery, but for now it's manageable.
I messed up my back working the ramp at LAX ~20 years ago.
That's good to know that you have a degree of control over it mate! I'm convinced that stretching, mobilisation and (as far as is possible) maintaining abdominal muscle tone is the key to controlling chronic back and neck pain. It don't cure the underlying physiological problem, but it can give a sufferer a reduction in pain and reduce the disabling effect of spinal degeneration that some poor 'bassteddz' endure on a daily basis.🙁
On a more positive note; If you do need surgery at some point, some of the reports I've read regarding modern, less-invasive methods of spine surgery sound encouraging.👍
I have a lot of empathy with this situation @Looneytoons, as I've dealt with it since I was a young man. I hope your pain eases and you can get 'back in action' again as soon as possible.😀

·Finally got to use as intended. Didn’t plan on diving this trip, so didn’t bring gear/computer. Didn’t bring camera either, so only above water shots but scouts honor it went to 60’ today.
