I heard that! 😁

Just for the record, I have de-distractified my hair (see pic below from a few minutes ago...with the Family Hamiltons previously posted today). I couldn’t handle the crap I was receiving from the almighty wife unit (MacGyverette) and our almighty teenager units...not to mention the almighty general citizenry. 😁

Ahh dude, where's the "Fro , man? That was, like, groovy.

Catching a flight to Cyprus today. This seems perfect for the journey.

Hey MD

I had a Coral Gold Filled Ross ( only made for a few years right before WWII after thennever made the coral ( Rose) gold filled again ).

I already thought it was a cool watch and your painted Roman numeral dial is much cooler then the gold applied number dial that was offered as well....pics

I recently got a Clinton sq clamshell water resistant square case that sort of reminds me of your Ross!! gota find the pics...

best

bill

Thanks, Bill! 👍

I believe my Dad (A.R.W.) acquired the Ross in the 1940s or 1950s...I’m not sure if he purchased it new or pre-owned. I remember him wearing it from about 1968 (when I was 4) until his passing in 1996. I remember him always wearing it on the solid gold bracelet (pictured) which is not original to the watch...he used to comment that the bracelet was worth more than the actual watch. Although I think the gold bracelet is sort of “blingy-blingy”...I like to wear the Ross on the band that he wore it on. 👍

Switched to an alarm watch for the evening 😀
JLC jumbo Memovox E855

Love the Memovox. I'm a Cricket man myself (the watch, not so much the sport) but have come to really like the Memovox the more I see it. I fear another rabbit hole opening...
