off to a Sunday wedding......not formal so maybe this one......(wife's favourite speedy, and she does recognize the different references)
Seiko SRP777 and a freehand drawing thing I've been working on and off since 2011. I think I missed the boat on those adult coloring books. I could have pioneered that craze.
Co-Axial Moonwatch Chronograph (44.25mm) on factory leather strap with deployment clasp. I’m one of those more mature (age-wise) guys that likes a date complication. The other day at Starbucks while chatting up a barista she asked what was the date today. I had my iPhone in my hand but looked at my watch for the date. A little thing that makes a statement about generations. I’ve been toying with the idea of adding a 42mm Speedmaster Professional as it is probably the perfect size watch for me. What I cannot get used to though is the idea of no date window. Manual winding I can probably handle. I love the automatic winding of the co-axial movement but manual winding might be a nice nostalgic feature. And I’d love a metal case back instead of the bubble back display feature. But no date window? Can’t do it.
Finally found a suitable strap for this one. 2852 with Textured dial. (Thanks @ConElPueblo for advice!)
