What year ~ is this from?



.....Following your request, I have the pleasure to give you here below the information I found in our old hand-written registers :


The serial number 5’653’870 identifies a wristwatch in stainless steel.

It is fitted with a Longines chronograph caliber 12.68Z Stop that was first produced in 1938.

It was invoiced to Messrs.’ Baume, who were for many years our agent for the UK, on the 07.07.1938......

This again today... only brought one watch with me to Germany... the choice was pretty easy, however the Nomos Club was a close second!

I've been wearing bubblebacks most of this past week, this 2764 yesterday and today.

The dials on Bubbkebacks resemble stained glass, the kind you find in a church. Strikingly beautiful.
