I'm sort of smitten with this watch; now I have a Speedmaster Pro transitional - it was the watch that got me into my fascination with mechanical timepieces - and it's the crown jewel of my very humble accumulation. But I don't really like big ass 40mm+ watches. This 38mm reduced though I find just about perfect on my wrist. You hardcore Speed freaks can sniff at it all you like but this, for me, is a great wearing, great looking watch...
One of the coolest parts of the evening was being able to inspect, up-close and personal, Dr. Peggy Whitson's Sokol (falcon) spacesuit worn during ascent and descent on Soyuz spacecraft. The suit is well-traveled, having been worn on Soyuz TMA-11 (on the way to ISS Expedition 16) and Soyuz MS-03 (to Expeditions 50/51). Dr. Whitson commanded ISS Expedition 51 and is NASA's most experienced Astronaut, having logged a total of 665 days in space.
