Update - Watchmaker said it was the mainspring click spring.

Yeah, well I was just checking to see who was paying attention. 😜 The picture is from last year's Time Crafters show in NYC. I did really like that watch though - it fit the curve of my wrist like it was custom made for it, and it was light as a feather compared to other watches of it's size.
