Mrs. Jones and I debated quite a bit on how best to bring this into the US and ultimately ended up declaring it at the full purchase price with Customs. Taking into account personal exemptions we effectively paid a 1.7% duty (and got a full VAT refund in Venice) so the total landed cost was considerably less than expected.
The case back is a small wonderland in itself 馃榾
