·Playing hooky on a Friday. Had a stellar run on the bike. I skipped my usual watering hole and shaved 2 minutes from my best time. I'm going to have to think about extending the distance as my goal is to get in 2 hard hours of work.
This is the hill that always kicks my arse. The horseflies seem to have dissipated, so once I spun out and couldn't make any more forward progress, instead of humping the bike to the top of the hill, I snapped a few pics.

I know it doesn't look like much, but I have a hell of a time getting to the top without spinning in the loose stony trail. I'm open to suggestions from the pros.
Made it home in "thermo-compensated quartz timing" proof, record time:

My buddy just got his "Bond" watch so I had to bring along my 3313. Amazing they are the same thickness. The angle makes the 45.5 seem way larger then the 42.
He made the right choice!
