Had a meeting today with some non-watch people today. I could tell this, because no one else was wearing a watch. 😒
Curious to see if advice from this thread would work, I took @Bill Sohne 's excellent recommendation, I rolled up my sleeves and flashed a first generation Navigator:

I can confirm that non-watch people just aren't caring 🙁

Goin' against the grain today.😝

Jump Hour / Regulator.......It's a Jump Hour.
😵‍💫 as to why it says Regulator on the dial.

It's a regulator because of the center minute hand. I am under the impression that it is was initially a dive complication. While diving, hours and seconds don't truly matter, therefore having minutes as the primary form of time on the dial makes it easier to read at a glance under water.

Oris released a regulator with their Aquis line recently which I found pretty cool.

It's a jump hour. The window @ the 12 is the hour , not a date complication , therefore a jump hour.
Definitely not a dive watch

I agree, definitely not a dive watch. I was just referring to the Regulator "complication" aspect of it, or at least the little bit I know about regulators. Definitely not something you see everyday and something I'd like to add to my collection at some point, both a dress and a dive regulator

Anywho...

Bucking the Speedmaster trend today……… Rolex 'Turn O Graph'

The first Rolex 'Tool Watch' incorporating a rotating bezel

This is the 16264 version, circa 2000's, with white gold bezel, on Oyster bracelet
