Wearing a Wenger pilot chronograph while visiting the LST 325 (Landing Ship Tank) WW2 amphibious landing ship. A veteran of the D-day landing. It's a real piece of history, and the only operating example left in the world.

For [flying] Waltham Wednesday...wearing my Dad's 21j Ruby [c. 1928] and my 23j Vanguard 1908 [c. 1929]. First time flown for my Dad's Ruby...so I carefully removed the band that he had on it and installed a Raine Inc. protective band which has a retractable protective cover. My Dad's Ruby has enamel inlay numerals on the outer bezel so I'd like to protect it from the various watch foes that loiter in the pointy end of the donut factory. Preflighting my Dad's Ruby earlier by carefully removing the band he had on it and installing a Raine Inc. protective band...
