61 Seamonster... yeah its a redial upon which someone painted the hands black... but its a 600 caliber made in the year I was born, it was cheap and I love the look...

This little russian bird flew onto my wrist at a holiday flea market last weekend for an easy $20. Cool goldtone finish. Not a mark on it. Movement is clean as a whistle. Interesting position of crown..have to do more research.
Google "Komandirskie" watch. Commander's watch, military stuff, like everything else from Russia.

The finest view in the world....

For those unaware it's Cambridge. The Backs. Kings College Chapel.

Was there this past March certainly a fun and pretty town

Continuing on from yesterday, I picked up another slightly quirky watch from the box.

From 1985 (or is it an 84?) this was the last Jack Heuer designed watch until he made the one with TH a couple of years ago. I think I'm right that this range was the first all titanium watch (when released in 1982) and this one has the fixed bezel with gold inserts. A rare and, in my opinion, under-rated watch. Perfect for timing your coffee ....
