I took a chance on this micro (Hamtun) because of the look. It has a Seiko (lowish end) movement. It's Titanium, came with a Ti bracelet and a nice rubber one as well. The cost was very nominal. I really like the look and expect it will have place in the heavy beater rotation. Here it is on a Phenomenato strap.
Made it through the full 24 Hours of Le Mans only to see Aston knock into the Corvette and rip its tire open on the last lap... I feel like hell
I'm determined to wear this watch to each of the 58 California county summits -- a multi-year (multi-decade??) project. Today I knocked off two in one day -- Ventura, and Kern Counties. Not particularly difficult -- 11km (7mi) of walking and 500m (1,500ft) of ups & downs.
Wore Speedy Gonzales at the office today [as well as yesterday]...the chronograph function came in handy today since our brake temp indicator was placarded inop...a 27 minute brake cooling period [minimum] was required after each landing...so Speedy Gonzales actually got to do some additional work other than telling me when it was time to hit Dunkin' Donuts...
Was out on the streets today. Being a Sunday morning, and a holiday, and poor weather, I seized the opportunity of low call volumeto take a little snooze while we were posted. My trust seiko five told me it was a good little snooze #SeikoFivesSaveLives #SeikoFivesTimeNaps
