路Just acquired today. I stopped by a friend's jewellery store, and he wanted to give me a Swiss Hamilton Thin-o-matic movement for parts. Ten karat solid gold case, circa 47 years old. He indicated that the watch had sat in a drawer for decades, and he finally decided to scrap it. He had called his scrap guy, and the case was destined to go tomorrow. I told him I'd pay him what the scrap guy would pay for the case, PLUS I would pay him for the movement which he had given me. It will need some work, and the pig skin strap is only temporary. But I rather like it, in spite of the fact it looks a bit pokey on my 8" wrist.

it's FRIDAY. Thank the Lord! I've had a hellacious week of moving clients.Beat up ,tore back,sore,gouges,cuts,bruises ,calf & leg cramps,shyt my fingers & toes are even sore.
