The watch was a impulse purchase. I figured can't go wrong with a eta 77xx movement.The back of the watch fits the top of my wrist very well. For myself that makes the watch very comfortable on the wrist Most of the larger watches do not fit my wrist this good. So for me the Union is a keeper.

路This is the story of my Baume and Mercier Capeland. You can't go wrong with 77xx (7753 in mine)...Sometime, impulse purchase would turn down to be a keeper in no time!
The eta 7753 is a very nice movement. However do not over wind these movements, when this one arrived it worked fine. I put 30 winds with the crown. Ran great the next morning I figured I would put a few winds to top off the mainspring. Well 4 turns of the crown the reversing wheel let go. And the rotor was off and spinning. I took the watch to the watchmaker I deal with and had him replace the reversing wheel along with a full service. I can't complain the watch is keeping time as it was prior to service -2 seconds per day on the wrist. I am not going to complain about that. Actually I'm happy with that.

路I realize that most of the pieces coming off kickstarter are utter garbage, but this is a true gem. The more I wear this thing the more I love it.
