路Depending on the reference, Wittnauers can be highly "collectible". That's a pretty watch you have there.
Venus 188's are very sought after. I've attached a picture of an unmolested '54 Venus Chrono.
I also have a mid '55 platinum winder which I'm told is extremely rare. It's a beautiful little watch and it runs like a champ.
Wittnauer: the watchmakers watch. Apropos of, my watchmaker's favorite watch brand is Wittnauer.

Wearing this today from ~1968, one of the first vintage watches I ever purchased oh, about a dozen years ago for not so much money, but I'll never sell it...Have always loved this dial.
Not a collectible piece, 10k rolled gold Star made case with plating that is wearing thin in some places, a D11KAS movement...nothing fancy or very collectible but I like it!馃榿

Listen, the nice Israeli gentleman at the watch booth where I bought it wholesale / 50% off retail (he said his name was Jack but I heard his co-worker call him Shlomo??) anyway,,,my dear friend Jack said it's the best number 1. He knew what he was talking about with these watches.
Now, this landeron could be crap because jack didn't say anything either way about landeron. If it was good he would have told me. landeron? Right??
