    Just-acquired 1972 Bell-Matic. Faffing about with trying to trigger the alarm mucked the date display up and by the time I'd fixed it, my phone was out of juice :)

    I've learned from a Seiko forum that this bracelet is called a coffin link ...

    Wearing the Seiko 5 today. This one is 43mm diameter and 14mm thick. My wrists are only a bit above 6.5inches and I'm surprised with how much I like the feel of the watch on my wrist. I don't mind the weight honestly...I suppose I've become used to the relatively light weight and feel of my AT and my FC slimline. I thought a watch this size would be too big for me and my plan was to use as a weekend beater/pool watch so I wasn't concerned with the size. Turns out I was wrong...this opens up a wrong new world of possibilities. And I suppose a wider wallet!!
